I had the pleasure of taking some Fall time portraits of these children this past weekend. I love the Fall and this park makes these images really stand out. I wanted to use some different effects with these images, so as you can see there is a wide range of creativity to display. Enjoy!
A Child’s Perspective

I shot this picture of my son at my niece’s bridal shower event. I titled it “A Child’s Perspective” because it shows my son’s viewpoint at that very moment the shutter clicked. We sometimes don’t have a child’s perspective on what they think, but I think this image captures that pretty well. Enjoy!

I had the pleasure of taking the wedding photographs of this couple on Sweetest Day. The wedding location was in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Most of the images you see were taken at Island Park on the University of Michigan campus. The weather was perfect for a Fall day and the location was also a perfect back drop for these images. It was a great time and the Bride, Groom, and their families were awesome! Enjoy!

October Wedding “Sneak Peek”

I shot my first twilight outside wedding this past weekend and it was awesome! The Bride and Groom were very fun to work with and both family and friends were very friendly. I told the Bride that I would put up a “sneak peek” photo while I finish post processing the rest of the images. It is always fun to work on the images after the fact so your creativeness can start shining through. More from this wedding to come!
October Family Portraits

I had the pleasure of photographing this family for the first Fall portraits of 2009! The portraits were done at Mill Race Park in Northville, Michigan. The backdrop for the portraits is very popular with local professional photographers and as you can see it is very unique as well. I really like the candid poses to my portraiture rather than the traditional posed shots. I really like to show people in their normal everyday surroundings and environment. More Fall portraits to come, stay tuned!
